American attack on the NHS

Obama is going for a health care reform in american. Most american republicans are against this idea, they display this by attacking the NHS. Sarah Palin described it as 'Downright Evil' WHAT A FUCKING COW. In american you only have 'healthy rich people' as only the rich or middle class can afford health care. What obama is trying to push forward is a ' National Health insurance' that pays for the care they need.... or something like that. Now many americans have attacked the NHS saying it puts a price on a persons life. They were saying that 'Stephen Hawking' would not be where he is now with the NHS but when he went to recieve a presidental medal he said ' He wouldnt be here if i weren't for the NHS'. I may be sounding too patriotic here, but it really pisses me off, only british people are allowed to critisise the NHS. On twitter, many people have united to defend the NHS with the hashtag #WeLoveTheNHS The NHS has cared for many of my loved ones and has patched me up quite a lot. So if it were not for the NHS i would be sitting here typing with absolutley no money because i spent it all on health care, granted we do pay taxes to it but not THAT much. At the end of the day it provides universal healthcare for everyone alike. I may have babbled on a little here and some of you will be like 'NHS!? WTF!' and others will be like 'I COULDNT GIVE A FLYING TOSS' but i needed somewhere to shout my opinion and vent out. So thanks for reading :P

ROFL. It's our 'National Health Service' We get free universal healthcare, so say you broke your leg you go to a hospital and get it patched up free of charge. As we all know, we get nothing for free, so we pay for the NHS in our taxes. Money from our wages goes towards it, that why it annoys us tax payers that people that dont pay taxes get it for scot free but that's only a tiny percentage. ITs quite a good system unlike in other countries where you have to pay cash first and if you dont have the cash you dont get the care.

The government takes 40p of every £1 we earn, and if you earn something like £300,000+ a year, the government takes 50p of every £1 you earn. That's just income tax, all i have to worry about smile
