I would suggest to reinstall ur CoD4 completely, and update punkbuster when thats done + change the CD key for the problem not to repeat. But also, maybe someone just got ur CD key banned and so are u, cuz punkbuster bans are global, and generated keys are beeing used like - 5000 people on 1 key, if someone gets banned, so are the rest 4999 users, so just do what i told u and everything will be back to normal.

Well, in zombie servers, high ping doesn't disturb to play, its a bit harder to skull someone, but i played a lot on american servers with ~200 ping, and i didn't even feel it.
